Is HubSpot right for manufacturers?
- 7xmore likely to double as a content marketing engine
- 96%of Hubspot sites have a Content Security Policy (CSP) in place
Who Chooses It
HubSpot powers 341 of the 25,000+ industrial websites we track, ranking 8th of 60 platforms, with a typical site size of around 150 pages.
HubSpot stands out on a single measure. More than a third of its sites run an active content operation that we can automatically detect, like a routinely published blog or comprehensive resource library. While that one-third figure is just a visible floor, it is still the highest share of any platform we track and many times the industrial norm. These are inbound-marketing engines, built to attract and capture leads rather than sell from a shelf or sit still as a brochure. And unlike some platforms, HubSpot's adopters don't cluster in one industry. They span machinery, electronics, medical, and chemicals alike. What they share is a marketing strategy.
That's because HubSpot isn't really chosen as a CMS at all. It's a marketing and sales platform first, and the website comes as part of the bundle – less customizable than a true CMS, but wired directly into the tools that run the campaigns. Manufacturers land here when a marketing team commits to inbound and wants the site, the leads, and the follow-up in one system. It's mid-market manufacturing running marketing like software, and the website is just the front door.
