IONOS industrial users are small job shops and parts makers. Most of them are contract manufacturers, running some of the smallest sites of any CMS we track, with none larger than a basic brochure. These are companies who see their website as a formality rather than a sales tool, usually set up once and left alone. While security can be very good with simple site builders, IONOS features some of the weakest security of any page builder in our index. It's fairly safe to say that when an industrial site runs on IONOS, no one inside the company truly owns or prioritizes the web presence.
